Sisters!

My girls have so much fun together! I am so glad that they can get along. Briallen is still a little young to keep up with the others, but that won't last too long. I am grateful that my sisters and I get along so well also. I have such wonderful, fun sisters and sister-in-laws. We have such a blast together. Thank you to all of you for loving me and my dorkiness. I love you! I hope that my children can grow up with the same relationships that we have.

Big imagination...

Emma loves to pretend. She always makes up stories. I remember my sisters and I making up stories when we were little. Well, the other day, Randy was working out in the garage, and Emma was out with him. Pretty soon she came in the house with this "get up". She told me that she needed a whole bunch of food because her and her dad were going to go to Salt Lake. I don't know why she needs the helmet and goggles to go to Salt Lake, but she was really excited about going. What a character!

Birthdays, birthdays, and more birthdays....

On December 30th Briallen turned 1! Natalie turned 4 on January 2nd, and Emma turned 5 on the 4th. I am about partied out after having Christmas and birthdays all in a row. We had a good time though, and of course, the kids loved it. Happy birthday, my beautiful babies!!!

My little ballerina princesses

My girls are really into ballet lately. They all love to dance, (including Briallen). Their Grandma Carlene gave them a movie called "Bella Ballerina" and they love to watch it and do all of the moves. They are getting pretty good at it. Natalie is into it the most. She wears her leotard and tutu all day every day. And if I can pry it off of her to wash it, she will put on her swimsuit as a substitute. She always says she wants to be a ballerina.

Emma's emergency dentist visit

Emma has been complaining for a week about a tooth ache. She had been to the dentist twice already, and all they tell was that she was getting a molar in the very back. The second time I went I questioned several times because the pallet of her mouth was swollen. And she had woken up with an eye infection one morning too (which I know means there is some kind of infection). The dentist was pretty positive that it was just a molar, but my gut kept telling me something different. I didn't know what to do until 2 days later, Emma was complaining more than ever. I looked in her mouth again, and lo and behold, the swelling had turned white. I called the dentist, and he told me to call a pediatric dentist. When I called him, they told me to come in right away (it is a 30 minute drive, and I had to find a sitter for the other 3 kids too). I was so nervous, I prayed the whole way to town. When we got there, he took one look at her, and was shocked at how abscessed her tooth was. He gave me a few options, but pretty much said that if we didn't get it taken care of within the next day or two, she could be hospitalized with IVs and the whole thing (Very critical). I chose option one, which was take the tooth out now. Emma was SO scared! He gave her the highest dose of laughing gas he could, and got to work. Once she was numb and everything, it took less than a minute to get her tooth out, and she was pretty calm the whole time. I want to bring some laughing gas home.....hehe. It was pretty brutal. He was jerking every which way to get it out. When we were almost home, I asked Emma how she was feeling. This was her reply: " My tongue is thinking about going up in there (the ginormous hole)......it went up in there already once. It is really thinking about going in there..........I'm not thinking about it, but my tongue is." I just thought it was so cute, she was such a trooper the whole time, I am so pleased with her. And I am grateful for the dentist that caught the infection and fixed it. We are so blessed that we caught it before it was too late.

Family pictures

Yesterday we had a friend take our family pictures, it was crazy, and a lot of fun. Of course, we could not get all of the kids to cooperate at once, but we still got some good ones. Here are some of my favorite ones:

This one I was holding Briallen at my knees cause she was bawling:

We have 3 with brown hair and brown eyes.....where did the blonde with blue eyes come from??

Which one is your favorite?? I can't decide!
