Nephi's surgery

I have already made the post about Nephi, and wrote a big long "book" about it, so I don't need to say much about it. I do have to say that it was one of the most gut wrenching days of my life! It's so hard to hand your baby off to a stranger and trust that your baby will be okay for the next 3-4 hours! Randy and I tried to keep our minds busy, but it was pretty impossible. Boy was I glad when I saw his surgeon come to tell us that the surgery went well, Nephi did well, and he was in recovery! Being in the hospital over night was a new experience as well, but Primary Children's is amazing, and we had a very pleasant experience (all things considered). Am I looking forward to his next surgery? No. It will probably be just as hard. I don't imagine it getting any easier, but I am so thankful that there are talented surgeons out there that know what they are doing, and can help make Nephi's life a lot easier!! What a blessing!

We stayed with Grandma Harward the night before. I love her so much!

January 2015 to who knows when ;)

Since I had just had a baby, and he had so many needs, I was a slacker on birthdays and holidays this year. We did simple, and didn't have any big parties. In fact, we were late celebrating, because I had so much going on, and wasn't very on top of things. Randy and I made trips to Salt Lake for Nephi to meet with surgeons, fit him for his NAM, and learn how to do all of the taping and stuff.
I was so busy with pumping and feeding, and taking care of Nephi, that I did get much of a chance to take care of the other kids like I wanted to. Randy took time off of work to help with everything. Sleep didn't exist for me unless I took a nap in the morning or afternoon. Randy fed the other kids, and took care of them, along with taking care of Nephi and I. I am so grateful to him for that.
We took lots of pictures of Nephi, but not many other pictures. I will post some of what I have...

October, November, and December

For some reason I can't find pictures of these 2 holidays! I'm not sure why, but if I find them I will post them later!
For Halloween, Randy was working, and I was pregnant and tired, so I made a deal with the kids that we would only go to a few houses trick or treating, and then I would take them to get something to eat. I took them through the Dairy Queen drive through, and we came home, ate dinner, and they went through their candy. Best mom of the year award, right?! Well they were fine with it, so I was happy! Maybe this year will be better! haha
In November, we redid the flooring and paint in our master bed room. I told Randy I couldn't bring a baby home to the condition it was in before. We already had the wood flooring, and the paint, so it was just a matter of doing it. It looks so nice, and I'm so excited to have it done!
For Thanksgiving, it was the Bundy family "on" year. We had it down on the cement slab at the ranch. I had been eating a strict no sugar, no junk food diet for several months, so I was sooo excited to have some pie!! We had a great time visiting, and of course, eating tons of food! Good times!
In December, I had went 15 days over due with Nephi, so Christmas was a nice, quiet day in our home. I was sore and tired, and I knew I would be, so I had almost everything ready to just set out under the tree and go to bed. It was a good day, and we had the best present ever having a new born baby boy!!
Briallen's birthday was small, and we just had Randy's parents over. She was happy though. She turned 7 years old!!

Dave Bundy reunion 2014

Like always, it was so nice to get away, and visit family and play games. Especially after the year that we had all been through as a family, it was nice to just be able to relax. Isabelle was baptized out there in that cold pond too, and had such a special day!
