Dance recitals

Every year we have so much fun doing our dance recitals, and every year I add one more kid to dance. They love doing tap, and getting to spend time with thier Aunt Bea and cousin Sarah who teach the class. And they all did such a great job!! Briallen can't wait until she can be in tap too!

Happy girl!

Alison is such a great baby! She is so patient while her older sisters love her to death!! She is 2 months old already, I don't know where the time has gone, but I wish it would slow down a little!
We are all enjoying her so much. She loves to smile and coo all the time.

Phone picture

I just found this picture off of my phone.... boy am I glad to be holding little Alison in my arms! :)

Alison and Laila

Rachel and I have been having fun taking pictures of our babies that are just 11 days apart. It's so fun to have babies close together! I think they will grow up to be good buddies. Aren't they so cute?!

It's a great day!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Lance was sealed to our family, and so all 14 of us kids were there!
It was such a wonderful experience, and so good to see all of my brothers and sisters. It isn't very often that we are all together at the same time, so we decided to have our family pictures taken. These are just a few that Randy took from the side. We had a wonderful weekend, and I hope it's not too long before we are all together again. :)

This year we had Thanksgiving with the Hare family. We had such a good time! There was lots of yummy food and family, and I absolutely love this time of year!

Holy moly, we have 6 girls!!!

Every once in a while it hits Randy and I that we have 6 kids, and then it hits us again that they are ALL girls!! We definitely have our hands full, and LOVE it!! Emma is 7, Natalie is 6, Naomi is 5, Briallen is 3, Rebekah is 21 1/2 months, and Alison is 4 weeks old today!

The kids and I went out and took a few snap shots, and had a lot of fun!

Rebekah was done at this point...
Briallen and Rebekah ran to play on the playground, and the others wanted to do "funny faces".... I absolutely love being a mommy!

Precious girl

Rebekah has struggled a little bit with having a new baby around (which is normal). So I have chosen not to fight her about certain things like sitting in the baby's swing (plus, she isn't past the weight limit yet). The other day she came with her baby and sat in the swing to rock her, and she rocked herself to sleep. She is such a good little mommy, and I just thought this was so precious, I had to post it! I love this little girl!! :)

I wonder what they were thinking....??

I always forget that every time I have a baby, the other children take advantage of every moment they can while mom is busy with the baby. I was nursing Alison the other day, and pretty soon Rebekah came to me covered in flour. I immediately knew it was gonna be bad... This was a quick reminder of the many adventures I will get to experience for the next several months!! :)
You can tell they had a blast!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween this year was kind of low key. I had just had Alison, and wasn't in the mood or position to do a lot, so we didn't go all out with costumes. But Aunt Margie came and got the kids and her and their daddy took them trick or treating. We also went to our ward trunk or treat, so they had double fun!!
Rebekah was a little horse. She LOVED her costume! So much, that every time she finds her costume, she will put it on and wear it everywhere; it's so cute!!
Emma was Goldilocks, and the other 3 were princesses. They had a lot of fun, and got plenty of candy!

Alison Zola

Finally, 11 days over due, our beautiful baby Alison arrived! She was born on October 15 at 8:06 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces, and was 22 inches long! She was our longest baby, but our second smallest by weight. The labor was my best one. My midwife helped me to be able to relax my body during contractions, which helped with the pain so much!! The delivery went really quick also. I did lose a lot of blood once I delivered, and I haven't been able to do much besides sit or lay down since. It's supposed to be this way for a while, which is hard. It's hard because I feel weak and dizzy constantly, and I don't like having to be waited on and having no control over my house. On a more positive note, I get to spend lots of time with Alison and the others, which is nice. I think I am getting better every day, and I can't wait to feel "normal" again! :)

I hope these photos don't offend anyone. I tried to pick the most modest ones, but this is my journal, and I wanted these to be part of it.

My awesome midwife, Lisa Heimberger. She was incredible! She didn't show any signs of panic while I was bleeding so much; she just gave me the herbs I needed, and took really good care of me (I didn't know how bad it was).

A couple hours later the kids came home from Randy's parents and got to see her and hold her before they went to bed.

I don't know why this picture is turned sideways, but it was cute, so I had to show it. Rachel, Molly, and Katie came over to visit and see the new baby, and we had fun taking pictures of both babies!

I love being a "new mommy"!! It's so fun and rewarding, and there is such a wonderful spirit in the home! I also want to thank everyone for their help, love, support, and prayers! I don't know what I would do without all of you!
