Last minute SLC trip

Randy had a banquet dinner in Salt Lake City for work, and so we all jumped in the car, and headed up there last minute. We really had no set plans, but hopes to find us a "new" van too. We looked all over for a babysitter up there that could take the kids while we went to the banquet, and weren't having much luck, until one of our awesome friends that used to live near us messaged me, and said she would love to take the kids, AND provide us with a place to stay. Awesome!! We had such a great time staying there, and catching up with each other. It snowed, so the kids woke up early and went sledding in the snow. 

 The next day, we woke up and went to the Hogle Zoo. We had never been there, and really had a good time. Our favorites were the sea lions and the giraffs.

 This is our awesome friend, Irene. (We are secretly trying to find them a house close to us, so they can move back down here again)...

We did end up finding us a perfect little van! It was another Ford Windstar, and we bought a 3 seater seat to go in the middle, so it can hold all 8 of us. It will work great!....for now.... :)
