apricots, apricots, apricots!!!

My friend, Brittney, and I picked a whole bunch of apricots and have been making fruit leather with them. I finally talked her into making a little freezer jam too! It's so fun to do these things and add to your food storage. It gives me a good feeling!

Ice Cream at Grandma's

All the kids love to have ice cream at Grandma Bundy's house. It reminds me of my Grandma Pope. We always had ice cream cones when we went to her house. Fun memories.....

BEEP BEEP!!

Katie brought over 2 of these cars when she was moving, and asked me to give one of them to our mom. The kids each had thier own for a few days though, and that was fun.

Sparkle

Coming home from church one day, Randy found this baby bird on our front porch. Emma named it Sparkle. Sparkle couldn't fly, so the girls called Grandma Hare to come over and help them take care of him. Grandma came and fed him, and got him so that he was full of energy. Then she put him on her shoulder and lightly covered him with her vest to keep him warm. Well, sparkle got heat stroke, and died the next day. The girls went to her house and helped her bury him. It was fun while it lasted....:)

Fun on a hot day

The kids and I went to town and bought this cute little pool to put in our back yard. It has been a life saver! They love to play in the water all day long. It's nice. We put our little slide up to the side of it so that they can slide down in it too, and they put the hose on it to make it a water slide. I also will hook the hose up to the washer water so that they can have warm water in it if they want. Briallen and I have fun hangin' out together in the house in the cool air. Life is great!

Dinosaur

So last night we were given a computer. I was so excited, because we can use the internet again. I was mostly excited because I could update my blog, FINALLY!! So I grabbed my memory hard drive with all of my pictures, and went to......"wait a minute, where's the spot to plug this in?"..... (Randy laughing in the background)
"Are you serious? There isn't a place to plug this in??" I can't believe that you can get a computer that is just 8 years old, and you can't keep up with modern technology. CRAZY!!!. So here it still sits. Still no pictures..... how crappy. I will post them asap!!

The ugly virus....

Well, my computer has a virus, and I can't do anything with it! It won't let me add any pictures, so here it sits... as soon as I get it fixed, I will have several pictures to post. Untill then, I sure enjoy looking at everyone else's lives!!!

My filthy little angels

I just wanted to put a picture of all of my kids together on here. Then I realized that almost every picture I have of my kids, they are dirty. I guess I need to wash them up a bit more.... haha.

Oh, and they love to dress themselves these days. ;)

School Record Holder!!!

Rachel just called me and told me that she was reading an article about people holding the record in Virgin Valley. I got the school record for the flex arm hang in 4th grade, and I guess I still hold it!!! It was year '92-'93; 16 years ago!!! I held myself up on that bar for 1 minute, 57 seconds. I can't believe nobody has beat me. hehe! I just thought that was fun.

Temple Night

My friend, Shauna and I had the opportunity to go to the temple last week. It was so nice! I do not get to go often enough. I just love going! The spirit there is so strong. I am so blessed to live this close to a temple. The St.George temple is one of my favorite ones also. Just look how beautiful it is!!! Thank you, Shauna, for inviting me to go with you.

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Okay, so Randy had to go out of town on my birthday. I decided that instead of moping around and having a crappy day, I would make the best of it. I took my kids to town, and we had such a good time together. I took them to the rides at K-Mart, which I have never let them ride, and spent a whole pocket full of quarters. Then we just browsed around town, had ice cream, and they were angels the whole day. It was great. I also got a hair cut. It feels good to have healthy hair again. (though I can never to it as good as the stylist) ;) If I can find a decent picture, I will post that too.

Job well done

Have you ever tried to mask a stinky smell in your home? Well, I have the answer! It will make your whole house smell like your favorite perfume for DAYS!!!
Things you will need:
  1. A small bottle of your favorite perfume.
  2. A microwave
  3. and a 2 year old......

Time it will take: about 10 to 30 seconds

Do you see where I'm goin'??? Yeah. Last night I walked into the other room, and Randy was sitting on the couch. I wasn't gone even a minute, when I heard a LOUD BOOM!! A big explosion, followed by the most terrified scream coming from Naomi. Randy beat me to her. I could immediately smell the perfume. I didn't even think about it, but grabbed Naomi from Randy, and rinsed her eyes out with water in fear that she had it in her eyes. Her eyes were fine. She was just scared to death! She curled herself up in my chest shaking like crazy for quite a while. I think the only thing that happened, was the door of the microwave flew open from the explosion, and hit her in the face. I bet there were some bright lights before that too, because there was a tiny bit of metal on my perfume bottle. Now my whole house smells STRONGLY like perfume, and it doesn't seem like the smell is fading any. It was a scary moment for all of us!!!

p.s. you will have to clean up a lot of glass and perfume also.

Riding Bikes

Lately we have been going on bike rides together as a family. Randy and I each have a bike trailer so we can haul all the kids. It is a lot of fun. This time, Emma wanted to ride her own bike. We tried to convince her that it would be too far for her to go, but she insisted. We rode a few blocks down to Randy's parent's house, and she did awesome. It was her first time riding that far!! I can't believe how fast my kids are growing....

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star....

The other day I was doing a few things on the computer (bills and things) and I had Briallen next to me in her car seat to "protect" her from her sisters. WELL, I didn't do a very good job. Natalie and Naomi put all these pretty little stars all over her!! She was loving the attention.

Tea Party with the Grimshaws

The other day Randy had a job up in cedar, and I had a chiropractor appointment. Afterwards, Randy went to Kung Fu, and I went and visited Kathryn, my girlfriend from highschool. It was so fun! Kat and I got to visit, and the kids all had a tea party and played dress up.

Naomi's birthday

This was Naomi's birthday at the park.

Little Alice was able to come. She is so stinkin adorable!

Natalie and Daniel love each other so much!
They are best buddies. I tried to get them all to look at the camera at the same time, and this was the best I could do!!

Briallen thinks that she is one of the big kids and she can just sit and stand all the time. lol
Emma on the slide. It's one of the kids' favorite things.
Our little birthday girl!!! 2 years old. Crazy how the time flies.

Thank you Aunt Molly!!!

So Molly called me and told me that I needed a second opinion about Natalie's teeth. She said that probably all the work that "needed" to be done wasn't necessary. She talked to Dr. Robinson, and he told her to send me in and he would look at her. We went in, he said exactly what Molly told me, and said if she would sit still, he would fix her tooth. We went in a couple days later, and he fixed it!! He was SO good with her! And she did an awesome job. She sat there
so good! I am so glad that we didn't have to take her in and have her put to sleep. And, Dr. Robinson saved us thousands of dollars! Thank you Aunt Molly! and thank you Dr. Robinson!!!!!

What a sweet heart!! She sat so good. That side of her face was
so numb, so she had that cute crooked smile for the rest of the day.
We told her that if she sat still, we would buy her what she wanted.
She wanted a new bike. It was $30. I GLADLY bought her that $30
bike since we didn't have to spend that $3600 with the other dentist.

Flying kites

On one of our windy days last week, Randy took the girls out and helped them fly thier kites. They had a blast! They love spending every minute they can with thier daddy.

At least we know that we can do something on these windy days.
How fun!!

Guitar Hero

Well, we went to our friends' , the Iverson's house to hang out and they talked us into trying out guitar hero. It was pretty fun. But if any of you know Randy, you would be as suprised as I was to know that he was better than me at it!! ;)

Such deep concentration......

Fun Stickers!!

Okay, so this morning Naomi disappeared, and it got really quiet. When I found her, she was putting these "fun stickers" all over my bathroom mirror. lol

Natalie goes to the dentist

This was one not so scarry trip to the dentist. Natalie was very good, and did what they asked her to do. The only thing is that we found out that she has to go in for surgery on the 21st of April. She doesn't have very healthy teeth, so they have to put her to sleep and work on her whole mouth at once. My poor baby! I'm so scared! And on top of that, it's gonna cost an estimate of $3600. Due at the time of the operation. YIKES!! We have 2 1/2 weeks to come up with that. I don't think the pictures will be this cute next time....

Briallen's blessing day

This was Briallen's blessing day. March 30th. It was a pretty special day. Randy gave her a beautiful blessing; it was a good turn out too. We had lots of yummy food afterwards. Thanks to all those who came!
