School!

I can't believe summer is over and school has already started! I also can't believe I have 2 in school! (3 counting Naomi going to preschool). I didn't get pictures on the first day of school because it was crazy, but here are some of them all ready to go...

"Hands out for magic soap...." (hand sanitizer) Here is Natalie lined up to go in to class.

The girls are loving school this year! I am so glad! It makes it really easy for me to let them go. I have to admit that I had anxiety really bad the first day, not so bad the second day, and now it is a lot easier for me. I love that they love it.

Foreign Exchange Students!!

I have been trying to find a way lately that I can make some money, but still be at home with my children. Well I found a great job placing foreign exchange students. I love it! I get to meet cool people, and all of the students are ADORABLE!! It's so fun to see their personalities and meet people from different countries. These photos are not in order.

This is Claudia from Germany. She was kind of shy, but she is warming up now.
The couple she is living with is so fun. She will definitely have a great year!
This is Fernanda from Brazil (left) and Karoline from Norway (right)"Nanda" and Karoline are both staying together with an awesome family!! They have already taken them on a few trips before school starts. They are spoiled already, and they just got here! :)
Karoline getting off the plane. She was the first one here.
I have place 8 students altogether so far. 3 in Boulder City, 4 in Mesquite, and 1 in Orderville. I hope to place many more, mainly for the experience. I love it!

Hmmmm...

I haven't updated a lot lately because not a lot has been happening in our lives. Just the same everyday crazy lives! I haven't had a lot of motivation or energy either. I can't seem to keep on top of my house work, and spending quality time with my kids. I am happy, just tired. I feel like I need to get my health checked and see why I have no energy and I'm tired all the time.

On a more positive, non-complaining side, when the weather is warm we like to go bike riding as a family. It's SO fun! We ride our bikes everywhere, and I love it! Randy has been wanting to make electric bikes for quite a while, and the other day he put one together! I was so happy to see him doing something that he loves and I love that he accomplished it! It's really fun to ride. He mostly lets me ride it when we are going places. It is not to be lazy, but to assist you when you are getting really tired, or going up a steep hill or something. Every time I ride it I have a big smile on my face.

On Sunday, I was running late, and Randy took the kids and went to church ahead of me. I wasn't too far behind, but I decided I wanted to ride the bike. I put Rebekah in my little pouch on the front of me and set off. When I got about half way, my dress started flipping up in the wind! Haha! I was trying to ride and tuck my dress under my legs at the same time. I was lucky that it had the electric assist on it, because I just put my feet down low and rode it like a motorcycle the rest of the way. It was still fun!
I love my man, and love that he is so creative. I love that when he puts his mind to something, he does it. He motivates me to be a better person.

Journal

Since I have been very lousy at writing in my journal lately, I have been thinking a lot about writing more "journal" type posts on here. It doesn't mean that I am not going to keep up what I have been doing, I am just going to add in a few more posts about everyday life that most of you won't care about. So please bear with me, and ignore these posts if you want. (or read them if you want...whatever)

Rough times:
This morning I woke up with a positive attitude. I was going to get a lot done. I started cleaning the kitchen and realized that our water has been turned off. (totally my fault, and a misunderstanding, but I did not pay the bill, nor do I have the money to pay the bill)... so I decided to do something else. I can't vacuum because my vacuum has been broken for about a week. Rebekah was hungry and tired, so I was feeding her when Naomi asked me for some toilet paper. I told her that the toilet paper was out in the garage and sent her out to get it. Pretty soon, her and Emma came in and said that there were ants all over in the freezer, and that all the food was not frozen anymore........ yeah. So I rushed out there, and sure enough, everything was warm, and there was blood everywhere. I wanted to hurry and clean it up before the mess got bigger, and then I realized I have no water. Luckily I had some Clorox wipes and old towels, so I used that and cleaned that up. Every time I went to wash my hands, I had a rude reminder that there isn't any water!! Then when I go to the bathroom, I can't flush! My water cooler broke (for drinking water) so I am drinking warm water... which isn't that big of a deal, but I love cold water!!
Anyway, I wasn't able to accomplish anything I wanted to, and was kind of discouraged. I decided to make some bread, and I do feel a little bit better. I am going to go to my in laws' and bathe the kids and shower, and bring them all home and put them to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

Bundy Reunion 2010 part 1

Okay, so I have TONS of pictures!! So many I have to divide the Bundy Reunion into a couple different posts.... This year was so fun! The weather was good, the kids were all good, and there was no big drama up there! (quite the accomplishment for such a big family) hehe!

Little Cloe...(How is she so clean?)
Alice loves her little sister! But I am pretty sure Ella doesn't want to be held :)

we all love Bundy hugs...

Leah got to come up with Granny and Papa, and have "sleep overs" in our tent. We were so glad she was there, her and Emma were joined at the hip.

Count your many blessings...

After our lake trip a couple weeks ago, we started home and could see smoke in the far distance. We thought it looked really close to where our home is located.... Little did we know, it was very close!! Just around the corner from us. This family is in our ward. They were all home playing games, taking naps, and just enjoying their Saturday, when one of the kids looked out the window and saw flames on the side of the house. They all got out safely, thankfully, but they lost everything! Below them, a man was burning weeds and they got out of control and the fire spread quickly up the hill to their house.
On a positive note, our community stepped forward and had bake sales, concerts, and many donations. This family is very happy, and feel that they have had a new beginning. They are doing very well now!! It's just amazing to see how a community works together well and turns tragedies into miracles!

Elders Quorum Party at Sand Hallow

A couple of weeks ago we had an elders quorum party at the lake. It was so much fun!! The kids played in the sand the whole time, we had hamburgers and hot dogs, and just enjoyed hanging out with friends and family!
